PLEASE NOTE ............ this item is selling AS-IS ....... i will describe it to the best of my ability , but nearly every item i sell is from 50 to 100 years old and will show some sign of wear
THIS LISTING ........ is for an estate auction statue of a running back
football in hand and posed in a similar fashion to the famous Heisman trophy ...... there is some light wear on the gold color plating ....... but that simply authenticates it for the age ..... and it is quite old as you will note his knee pads on the uniform
this measures ..... 10 1/4 inches tall ..... 7 1/4 inches from his extended hand to his elbow that is nestling his football ...... nice detail that even shows his socks ...... perhaps it was designed as a topper for a trophy ...... but it was never etched with a date or a name ..... a nice art statue for anyone NOT a fan of sports
as the picture shows .... this has been filled with lead and is some ..... 9 pounds without any shipping materials or box ...... any sports fan would love to put this one in his man cave .... and what a vintage gift for a Superbowl fan as well ........
